I’m proud of my record of leading and winning pitches, as well as delivering organic growth through client trust. I’m proud to have been responsible for generating c.$75MM+ in agency fees in my decade in the US, and particularly proud of being asked by clients to stand-up and lead a sizable Ogilvy team (and commensurate 8-figure fee) to service the entire Tyson Foods business across Brand, PR and Corporate Comms.
ENGINEERING NEW WAYS OF WORKING
I’ve built tools that have secured assignments that would otherwise have gone elsewhere, including a “Brand Ignition” Product Innovation Tool and a 321 Rapid Ideation Sprint (3 weeks, 2 ideas, 1 round of feedback). I’ve also built shared IP with Clients; a Challenger Brand model for a clients’ smaller brands, and an Innovation Fund to protect dollars for test and learn opportunities, for example.In uncertain times, agencies & clients need to adapt to new realities, and these models brought new solutions and new energy to teams.
BUILDING THE OGILVY NAME IN CALIFORNIA
I moved to LA to grow Ogilvy out West; we needed momentum and motivation. Through collective passion and commitment, we won pitches, grew the team and defined what Ogilvy California meant. The image here (just a few of a badass crew!) taken this year at the American Advertising Federation LA Awards, where we took home Best in Show, putting us firmly back on the map.
